⁸ and will come out ^(A)to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, ^(B)Gog and Magog, ^(C)to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. ⁹ And ^(D)they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded ^(E)the camp of the saints and ^(F)the beloved city, but ^(G)fire came down from heaven^[a] and consumed them, ¹⁰ and the devil ^(H)who had deceived them was ^(I)thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where ^(J)the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
